Taylor and Austin :: A Cheerful Romantic Monogram Suite at Austin Country Club

Custom Wedding Invitation Spring

As an Austin wedding invitations designer, our goal is always to create a seamless visual experienceβ€”from the very first impression guests receive in their mailbox to the final detail they notice at the reception. For this spring wedding at Austin Country Club set in front of the iconic Pennybacker Bridge in Austin, we designed a custom wedding stationery suite that wove together romance, refinement, and a touch of personality.

The Wedding Invitations & Custom Monogram

We began with the custom wedding invitations, which set the tone for the entire celebration. The paletteβ€”soft blush, lavender, and greenβ€”was inspired by the floral arrangements and the couple’s vision for a garden-meets-elegance aesthetic. The star of the suite was not only the wedding wax seal and silk ribbon for the invitation, but the custom wedding monogram design, featuring the couple’s initial framed with delicate floral illustrations. This monogram became the signature element used throughout all wedding branding, from paper goods to dΓ©cor.

Signature Drink Sign & Bar Details

At cocktail hour, guests were greeted by a custom signature drink sign showcasing hand-painted illustrations of the couple’s chosen cocktailsβ€”an Old Fashioned and a classic Margarita. The bar display was accented with lush white blooms and custom wedding matchbooks in deep sage green, each embossed with the monogram and a subtle nod to the couple’s Texas roots. These thoughtful bar details helped tie the cohesive wedding branding into every guest experience.

The Seating Chart

The custom seating chart was not only a functional guide but also a design feature. With its crisp white backdrop, refined serif fonts, and floral illustrations framing the header, it created an elegant welcome moment at the reception entrance. Fresh floral arrangements at its base added texture and tied the display to the event’s floral story.

Ceremony Programs

We carried the invitation design through to the custom wedding ceremony programs, keeping typography clean and timeless while incorporating the monogram and delicate floral accents with the Pennybacker Bridge in Austin. This ensured that every guest holding a program experienced the same cohesive design style that was present from the very first save-the-date.

Wedding Menus

Each place setting featured a custom wedding menu printed on luxe cardstock, framed by lavender napkins and gold flatware. The monogram at the top and soft blush border echoed the invitation suite, while the vertical design allowed the multi-course menu to be elegantly presented without overwhelming the table setting.

Designing for Cohesion

What makes a wedding stationery suite truly special is the way it tells the couple’s story across every medium. By repeating the custom monogram, consistent color palette, and floral illustration style, we created cohesive wedding branding that tied the invitations, signage, favors, and printed pieces into one harmonious whole.

For couples planning in Austin and beyond, investing in custom wedding invitations and a personalized stationery suite ensures your wedding branding feels intentional, memorable, and entirely your ownβ€”from the first envelope to the last toast of the evening.

Letterpress White Wedding Menus with Bow

This summer, we had the pleasure of designing menus and signage for one of the most effortlessly elegant networking events by WIPA DFW. The theme? Classic white with the sweetest twist β€” bows everywhere. From fashion to florals to paper details, this event was an intentional blend of minimalism and femininity, and I was honored to bring the paper goods to life.

As a stationery designer, I always aim to mirror the event’s vibe through thoughtful design choices. For this soirΓ©e, we leaned into the soft sophistication of white-on-white palettes with subtle textures and dainty details. The menus were printed on double-thick cotton stock with clear foil bows β€” a quiet nod to the evening’s signature motif.

Signage was kept clean and modern, but never cold β€” white acrylic signs with soft serif typography brought clarity and warmth to each station. The bar signs featured an oversized bow illustration for a playful entrance moment, setting the tone right from the start.

WIPA always brings together some of the most talented vendors in the wedding and event industry, and this gathering was no exception. Watching the monochromatic palette come to life across linens, florals, fashion, and of courseβ€”stationeryβ€”was truly inspiring. It’s a reminder that even the most minimal color palettes can feel rich when texture and detail take center stage.

Wedding Editorial at Mattie’s at Green Pastures

As an invitation designer, I love when a couple’s wedding vision flows seamlessly from their paper goods to their celebration dΓ©corβ€”and this event was the perfect example. Every element embraced a natural, understated elegance, creating a celebration that felt both timeless and personal.

From the very beginning, the invitations set the tone. The suite featured lush green botanical illustrations paired with classic typography, wrapped with soft ribbon for a romantic finish. The pieces felt sophisticated but approachable, perfectly matching the couple’s outdoor ceremony beneath the trees.

Greenery played a starring role throughout the day. From the ceremony floralsβ€”organic arrangements blending soft white blooms with textured foliageβ€”to the reception tablescapes filled with candles, fresh fruit, and simple floral touches, every detail felt cohesive and intentional. Even the cake display continued the theme, with a crisp white cake accented by fresh greenery and surrounded by soft candlelight.

What I loved most about this wedding was its balance: refined yet warm, styled yet effortless. It’s a reminder that when you start with a strong design visionβ€”one that begins with your invitationsβ€”it naturally carries through to the entire day.

Taylor and Joe :: A Black and White Wedding with Bespoke Details at the Arlo in Austin

A Black and White Wedding with Bespoke Details with Custom Coconut Wall

Some weddings just get itβ€”and this one nailed the balance of high-end sophistication with playful, unexpected touches. From the moment we began designing the invitation suite, we knew this black and white wedding was going to be iconic. Thank you Taylor with Betts and Co and Taylor + Joe!

A Minimalist Invitation with Maximum Impact: The couple wanted a modern, tailored look, so we crafted a classic black and white suite with a bold custom wedding monogram that carried throughout the event design. The wedding envelope liner, clean typography, and black wax seal created a striking first impression for guests. Every piece felt curated and confidentβ€”just like the event itself.

Coconuts for the Keepers: One of our favorite details? The custom coconut wall. Yes, you read that right. In place of a traditional escort card display, guests were greeted with chilled coconuts, each personalized with their name and table number, beautifully tagged and nestled into a custom-built display that read β€œCoconuts for the Keefers.” It was the kind of moment guests don’t forgetβ€”and exactly the kind of touch that reflects thoughtful, playful luxury.

Florals, Texture, and Sculptural Design: Inside, the celebration was surrounded by romantic white and blush florals. The ceremony and reception spaces were softened with dreamy arrangements full of garden roses, baby's breath, and lush greenery. One of the most artful moments was the cake display: framed by two floral pillars, a multi-tiered architectural cake stood next to a chic champagne tower, lit by a custom neon sign. It was dramatic in the best way.

Cohesive Branding from Start to Finish: What we loved most as the designer was seeing how intentional every detail wasβ€”from their sleek stationery to custom monogrammed coconut stamps and laser-cut acrylic signage. The tone we set with paper was echoed in the event design, creating a wedding that felt elevated, cohesive, and incredibly personal. We were honored to create it for them.

If you're dreaming of a wedding that blends timeless elegance with fresh, fun ideasβ€”this is your blueprint.

Monica and Ian :: Garden-Inspired Wedding with Personal Charm

Designing Monica and Ian’s wedding invitation suite was such a joy β€” it’s the perfect example of how timeless elegance and personal touches can beautifully intertwine.

From the start, Monica envisioned something classic with a bit of personality β€” something that honored tradition but felt fresh and meaningful to them as a couple. We began with a romantic green-and-white palette that brought a soft, botanical feel to every piece. Ivy vines gracefully border the invitation and details cards, giving the entire suite a refined, garden-inspired look without overpowering the type.

One of my favorite parts? The custom envelope liner. Tucked inside a rich sage envelope, it features illustrations of personal icons β€” from a cowboy hat and golf cart to the Empire State Building β€” all crafted to reflect the couple’s story and roots. It’s a hidden surprise that adds charm and authenticity.

We carried that personalized artwork throughout the suite: the rehearsal dinner card showcases a sketched venue illustration, and the RSVP card includes a custom rendering of their wedding location β€” details that guests will immediately recognize and treasure.

To tie everything together, we used a classic serif paired with a flowing script font, monogrammed wax seals, and soft blush and ivory florals during the styling β€” all evoking that sophisticated Southern romance Monica was drawn to.

This suite was truly a labor of love. It reflects the warmth of their wedding weekend, the beauty of their venue, and most importantly, who they are as a couple. We topped it off with a custom built seating chart installation with the title β€œour best buds”, a fun and unique way for guests to find their seats.

If you’re dreaming of wedding paper that feels like you β€” meaningful, beautiful, and cohesive β€” I’d love to bring your vision to life too.

Event Signage at Wed Society Austin Event at Villa Antonia in Jonestown, Texas

As a stationery and signage designer, one of our favorite parts of the creative process is dreaming up ways to surprise and delight guests with thoughtful, unexpected touches. The β€œRing for Cocktail” sign has become one of those small-but-mighty moments that makes a big impactβ€”both in-person and in photos.

Recently, we had the pleasure of designing a custom β€œRing for Champagne” sign for an event at Villa Antontia in Jonestown, Texas, celebrating wedding vendors in Austin and the Texas Hill Country. It was the perfect mix of chic and cheeky. Picture this: an elegant display, complete with an old-fashioned bell, nestled in a wall of warm green and surrounded by glasses of bubbly. The sign read, in a classic font, β€œRing for Mocktail and β€œRing for Cocktail”—inviting guests to ring a bell and watch as cocktails or mocktails were delivered through a hidden window by a white-gloved hand. Instant magic.

From a design standpoint, this piece needed to strike the right balance between elevated and fun. We pulled in elements from the planner’s design inspirationβ€”like their green color paletteβ€”to make the sign feel cohesive with the rest of the signage.

Designing a wedding Ring for Cocktail sign like this isn’t just about the wordingβ€”it’s about understanding how the moment will unfold and making sure the typography, materials, and layout support that. Will guests be reading it from a distance? Will it be a focal point in photos? Will it still look elegant after 100 people have rung the bell? (Yes, I think about that too!)

More than just a photo op, β€œRing for Cocktail/Mocktail” becomes an interactive part of the event experience. Guests giggle, toast, and come back for moreβ€”because who can resist ringing a bell for a glass of bubbly?

As a designer, moments like this are what I love most: where form meets function, and fun meets beauty. It's the kind of detail that leaves a lasting impressionβ€”and that’s always the goal.

The client also wanted something custom: a structure that felt intentional and immersive, not just another β€œstep-and-repeat” moment. I proposed a grand wooden wall, painted in a rich, mossy green that complemented the natural surroundings and floral palette. Green is such a versatile design colorβ€”it’s grounding, fresh, and timelessβ€”but using it on a full-scale wall felt unexpected in the best way. We attached custom illustrations of Austin to this wooden display to make a great statement for all of Austin weddings.

What I loved most as a designer was how this backdrop created a sense of place. It didn’t just decorate the venueβ€”it transformed it. The color, the texture, the typeβ€”all carefully chosen to reflect the couple’s style and make the event feel layered and thoughtfully designed.

In a sea of white drapery and neutral palettes, this green wooden wall was a bold, refreshing twist. It proved that color, when used with purpose, can become the most elegant detail in the room.

We loved creating coordinating event wooden bar signs with these fun green elements to make the whole event cohesive.

Looking to add a champagne bell moment to your event? Let’s design something unforgettable together. πŸ₯‚

Hilary and Scott :: A Black and White Classic Wedding at the Arlo in Austin

We loved working with Hilary and Scott! The Arlo’s airy, loft-like ceilings and minimalist decor provide a stunning canvas. Think polished concrete floors, large windows, and yet with an intimate settingβ€”this space amplifies a clean, contemporary vibe where black and white light up beautifully and lush greenery pops.

Arriving in guests’ mailboxes are flat-printed soft blue bordered wedding invitation cards, featuring classic typography in black print. A modern yet timeless monogram adorns the top of the invitation card, which was used throughout the evening. We created a custom watercolor wedding map of Austin, showcasing highlights of the weekend and showing Hilary and Scott’s personality. Paired with Colorplan mid green envelopes, a custom watercolor venue illustration of The Arlo lined the interior envelope, hinting at the pairing of modern formality and natural charm to come.

A black acrylic wedding seating chart was beautifully displayed for guests to see, which lists guest names, surrounded by a luscious green grass across the courtyard.

We love this color palette because black anchors the palette, white adds brightness, and soft green/blue brings lifeβ€”together, they feel clean yet dynamic. And The Arlo’s modern architecture takes each detail to another level, offering the perfect backdrop.

Lizzie and Chris :: An Elegant Fun Wedding at Canyonwood Ridge

As invitation designers, we have the joy of helping couples tell their story through paper. And every now and then, I get the chance to create for a wedding that perfectly balances elegance with playful spiritβ€”like this unforgettable celebration at Canyonwood Ridge for Lizzie and Chris!

We started with a color palette that echoed the Hill Country landscape in late spring: soft ivory and shades of green.. To elevate the design, we added a custom watercolor venue illustration for the top of their invitation card. We also added a coordinating Mid Green envelope liner and belly band and antique gold wax seal. The result was a suite that felt natural yet sophisticated and fun!

The main invitation was printed on thick, double-ply cotton paper using digital flat print in a soft gold ink. We paired a classic serif typeface with romantic calligraphy for the couple’s names. The layout was formal but not stuffyβ€”think timeless, with a little wink.

Designing invitations for Lizzie and Chris’s wedding was about more than paperβ€”it was about giving guests a first look into the experience the couple had planned. Sophisticated, joyful, and thoughtfully detailed, every piece we created reflected the love and excitement surrounding their big day.

Western Whimsy Meets Romantic Elegance: A Texas-Inspired Wedding Invitation Suite. When it comes to setting the tone for your wedding, few things speak louder than the invitation suite. Infused with vintage western charm and soft romantic hues, this Texas-inspired custom wedding invitation suite is a dreamy nod to both tradition and personality.

From the vintage inspired illustrated cowgirl envelope liner to the custom boot die cut details card, every piece is a love letter to the a western theme wedding.
