Blair and Corey :: A Green and White Wedding at Commodore Perry Estate in Austin
Designing this wedding stationery suite was all about layering timeless elegance with thoughtful personalization. From the invitations to the reception details, every piece was created to feel cohesive, refined, and uniquely tailored to the couple’s vision. Congratulations Blair and Corey!!
The Wedding Invitations
First, the save the date featured a custom watercolor wedding venue of Commodore Perry Estate in Austin. We paired this custom squared save the date with a deep green envelope and a classic script, which we used throughout the entire wedding stationery and paper goods. The custom wedding invitation suite featured this classic script font paired with a hand-drawn leaf motif that became the unifying design element. We printed the main invitation on thick ivory cotton paper with soft letterpress ink for a timeless look, pairing it with a deep green envelope lined in a coordinating botanical pattern. Inserts for the rehearsal dinner and accommodations were styled in the same green and ivory palette, keeping everything clean, natural, and sophisticated. This suite not only set the tone for the wedding but also introduced the leafy pattern that carried through the event. Event branding 101!
Custom Signage
The leaf motif continued into the wedding day itself with signage that was both functional and beautiful. A large seating chart, framed in the same illustrated leaf border as the invitations, welcomed guests with an elegant “Our Favorite People” header at the top. Matching table numbers carried through the same typography, ensuring the design felt consistent from start to finish. Smaller signage, like the bar menu, was also designed in this suite’s style, making even practical details feel intentional.
More Day-of Details
One of the most fun touches were the custom watercolor pet cups. Guests loved the personalized drink cups, each adorned with a watercolor illustration of the couple’s beloved dog. Also the custom cocktail wedding napkins — featuring the couple’s names in script paired with delicate greenery illustrations. These playful yet elegant details reflected the couple’s personality while keeping the aesthetic cohesive with the overall design.
Every detail — from menus tucked into linen napkins at each place setting to escort cards written in the same elegant script — worked together to create a wedding design that was both personal and polished.
For couples planning weddings in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, or Atlanta, custom stationery like this transforms your event into something deeply personal. Invitations set the tone, signage guides your guests with style, and details like napkins or drinkware add personality guests won’t forget.
