Job Title: Graphic Designer
Position: We are looking for a graphic designer to design wedding and event invitations and day-of stationery and signage. If youβre a self-starter looking for flexible hours and fun design projects, this gig is for you. Be a part of our team!
This position is a part-time, remote if desired, and will be paid on an hourly basis. This is an independent contractor position. Must be able to turnaround designs within a few days.
Looking for someone in either Austin or Dallas/Fort Worth. Remote position with limited travel for client meetings.
About Us: Founded in 2012, we are a graphic design small business with a main office in the northwest Austin area. We specialize in wedding invitations and coordinating day-of stationery, party and event invitations, branding and logos, corporate events, and general small business graphic design support.
Job Responsibilities: You will be expected to interpret clients needs, conceptualize new ideas from their vision, and execute into a custom design. You will have access to fonts and pre-designed elements to create the design such as patterns, florals, crests, and images. Able to create designs from scratch is a plus! Must be highly attentive to every small detail and yet at the same time be able to see the overall aesthetic of the design. You will be communicating with clients via email and occasionally phone with potential in-person meetings.
The ideal candidate has a very high attention to detail, can work independently, is self-motivated, and has an eye for design.
Requirements:
-MUST be proficient in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
-Previous experience in invitation design is a MAJOR plus
-Self-motivated, HIGHLY detail-oriented
