Amanda and Dino :: Historic Meets Modern Wedding at Barr Mansion in Austin

Historic Barr Mansion for a Modern Texas Bride

What an absolute dream Barr Mansion is for our Modern Texas Hill Country Brides! We love to see how our brides and the teams come together each time to create something new! The navy-themed color for the groomsmen was such a timeless and classic delight to work with as we designed Amanda’s Day-of Signage needs. From her Welcome Sign, Escort Chart, and Reception details, we loved coming through for this beautiful bride’s special day! Invitation photos aren’t featured here but we also were lucky enough to do Amanda and Dino’s wedding invitations. You can find and shop a similar look to their invitations in our link below labeled “shop this look!”

A special thank you to Black Bride for featuring this gorgeous wedding!

Q&A With Our Lead Designer

Meet Emily Breinlinger, our lead designer here at Pink Champagne Designs!

Emily has been with Pink Champagne for over three years. Right off the bat, Emily’s artistic talents paired perfectly with our established design style, so we knew she was going to be a perfect fit. Her creative nature and amazing personality are irreplaceable in our eyes, and her strong work ethic made her progression to our team’s lead designer role a no-brainer!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hello readers! Growing up in central New York (go Bills!), my house was always filled with art and the sounds of Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac. Naturally, I studied graphic design in college, following in the footsteps of my artistic brother and dad, and discovered my love of typography.

In April 2021, I moved to south Georgia with my husband and 2 cats, Stewie and April (and recently added a rambunctious pup to the mix). When I'm not designing beautiful wedding stationery, I am either reading, doing yoga, or planning my next trip/adventure.

How did you get started with invitation design?

In college, I knew I loved the world of typography. But it wasn't until after I graduated that my mom sent me an Indeed job listing (as moms do) for a stationery design position. Long story short, I didn't get that job, but it sparked a passion in me and I knew I wanted to continue down that road. Soon after, I found Pink Champagne Designs in 2019 and never looked back! Everything I have learned about wedding stationery, I have learned here through working with this fabulous team and our amazing clients.

What design vibe are you loving right now?

Lately I've been loving bright colors paired with watercolor elements, especially dainty watercolor wildflowers. Elegant garden party vibes with pops of fun color!!

What do you like to know about a client's invitation vision before you start a design?

Two of the most important pieces of information that help me with starting a design are 1) a solid color palette and 2) a general description of your wedding style. Personally, I think 2-4 colors is just the right amount. Enough color to add some visual interest and tie in with your unique wedding palette, without being overwhelmed with too many colors. For general style descriptions, there are a lot of terms that can help me when mapping out the overall vibe of the stationery. Some examples are: art deco, garden party, sleek and modern, black tie traditional, bohemian, minimalistic, etc.

If you were designing your own invitations right now, what's one thing that you would include?

This is such a difficult question to answer... I love them all! If I had to choose one thing to include while designing my own invitations, I would include a venue illustration, either watercolor or sketched. No matter the wedding style, a venue illustration always looks amazing in any design, and it is such a special and unique touch that you can cherish forever.

XO, Emily B.

Emma and Sean :: No Detail Is Too Small for This Saint Louis Wedding

We loved designing their deeply romantic wedding invitations with neutral colors and deckled edges; once in our hands-they were so terribly lovely! The whole team of vendors did such an outstanding job of keeping in alignment in design over the whole event. It doesn’t take much to create beauty amongst beauty when it comes to being in love and celebrating it at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, Texas! For every bride who dreams of a simple and intimate wedding with Southern Charm draped all around, please consider this most beautiful venue for your big day! We love doing custom artwork of their signature cocktails and adding personal stationery touches to your receptions with menus. Alyssa and Cody :: Wedding at Bride's Summer Camp in Marble Falls, Texas

summer texas wedding invitation

This wedding was so gorgeous that we had the honor of being featured on Martha Stewart Weddings! We couldn’t agree with this stunningly soft and lush wedding suite paired perfectly with the oasis that is Marbles Falls! Alyssa and Cody really embraced those fun Summer vibes and brought that style through to every part of the decor. The string lights outside the cabin like campgrounds are so rustic and chic amongst all the natural beauty of the landscape! The flora ceremony stage with the floral colors being so breathtaking made for such a beautiful experience and celebration! We love these Summer looks, and lucky for us, it feels like Summer for half of the year to us Texans, so keep the sunny vibes rolling!

Heather and JL:: Blue and White Wedding in Fort Worth

elegant, blue and white wedding invitations

This classic wedding and the gorgeous St. Patrick’s Cathedral Church. The stunning archways make for such beauty and romance against the ornate stained glass- there’s no going wrong with this venue! It’s such a time-honored venue that we had to make sure to pair the elegance and tranquility of love’s divineness into Heather and JL’s wedding invitation suite! This was such a flawless creation of pairing that Pink Champagne Design was featured in Brides of North Texas magazine's Spring/Summer 2022 issue! Yay! You brides out there help make it happen with your stunning tastes and creative ideas!

We created a custom Monogram for the couple’s stationery, and accented the suite package with a graceful dusty blue belly and holding all the intricacies together! To highlight the transcendental architect of the historical church, the team came up with the perfect illustrated sketch of St. Patrick’s Cathedral to do it justice! Heather and JL wanted to make sure to keep to their loving roots and include their handsome golden retriever, Leo in the cocktail sign and bar Koozies! What a touch of personality to tie it all together! What a superlative event and style for these two on their big day!

Kelli and Dan :: Romantic Mountain Wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch Colorado

Colorado wedding stationery

As much as we love our southern charm weddings, the other half of us aligns and is so inspired by that rocky mountain bride vibe! We loved being part of this Colorado bride’s big day. Designing the perfect day-of stationery for Kelli and Dan wasn’t hard when the scenery is like a rustic magic fairytale! The location was so naturally gorgeous, that pairing it with divinely simple Programs and Welcome Signs seemed to be the obvious choice!! Complimenting the naturally lush venue with minimalistic stationery was so much fun!

Dyan and Ryan :: Colorful Floral Wedding in the Texas Hill Country

hill country wedding watercolor invitation

Welcome to the showcasing of the most modernly southern chic wedding we’ve seen to date! The scenic Hill Country landscape was stunning as the backdrop to the event. We painted a custom watercolor of the venue set amongst the rolling hills for her wedding invitation envelope liner! This set the mood for guests of what to expect, and to get excited for the beautiful location. Wanting to keep the nature theme strong, the florals did not disappoint- as they adorned the reception and ceremony so enchantingly!! The delightful yet romantic colors were like a woodsy dream to lay your eyes upon and let your heart get swooped away by Dyan and Ryan’s love!
